EE50 & EE100 Heater

(This heater has been used in the EE50 &
EE100 units since March 2003).
Features & Benefits
Very Flexible
- Not subject to de-lamination or element damage when flexed or
bent. This element is not fragile or easily damaged.
Made of Tough Silicone Rubber
- Very tear and puncture resistant. Long life element. Water
resistant rubber material.
No Thermal Runaway
- Water infiltration or heater damage will not result in runaway
self destruction, hot spots or arcing.
Failsafe Mode
- To prevent overheating, the thermostat defaults to the off
condition in the event of thermostat failure.
Built-in Overheat Protection
- The heating pad is made of silicone rubber with a high melting
point. This heater can operate continuously with a dry bowl
condition without the pad or bowl being damaged.
- Thermostat limits the temperature of the waterbowl to 26 degrees
C (80 degrees F) maximum.
Long Life Thermostat
Built-in Thermostat
- The thermostat is sealed within the heating pad. Protecting it
from corrosion or moisture which is present in a waterbowl
environment.
Preset Thermostat Set Points
- The preset thermostat provides a convenience to the end user.
The thermostat will read the ambient waterbowl temperature and will
control the on/off of the heater pad.
Simplified Wiring
- As the thermostat is built into the heating pad, there is no
need for complex wiring in the waterer's electrical box. There are
only 2 (two) wires used.
Higher Watt Density
- With the built-in thermostat, we are able to provide a 250 watt
heating element. This provides more available heat for those cold
days.
